KYC App (Know Your City) — Last updated: April 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the KYC App (Know Your City) mobile application and related services (“we,” “us,” or the “Platform”) collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Platform. By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
The Platform helps users discover and publish local listings and service-related information. We are a technology and listing intermediary only. This policy explains our practices regarding personal and account-related information. It is not legal advice. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Platform.
We do not conduct background checks, identity verification, or certification of users, listings, businesses, or transactions. Any representation of identity, skill, licensure, or quality in user content is supplied by users and is not verified by us for accuracy or legality.
You are solely responsible for:
The Platform is a listing and connection intermediary only. We provide software and information infrastructure so users can publish and browse listings. We are not an employer, agent, representative, broker, insurer, escrow provider, payment processor (unless separately and expressly stated in the app for a specific feature), guarantor, or party to any transaction, contract, or relationship between users. We do not verify users, listings, identities, qualifications, safety, legality, or fitness for a particular purpose. User-generated content does not reflect our views or endorsement.
The Platform may be used by unknown third parties. All interactions, deals, payments, meetings, hires, rentals, sales, and other arrangements between users are entirely at the users’ own risk. We do not control user conduct or offline activity. Any fraud, scam, theft, harassment, assault, property damage, financial loss, violation of law, or other illegal or harmful activity involving users is the sole responsibility of the participants involved. You agree that we are not responsible for investigating, mediating, insuring, or remedying such matters, except where required by applicable law. Nothing in this Policy limits any disclaimer or limitation of liability in our Terms & Conditions where those terms apply.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, and service providers (collectively, “Released Parties”) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or inability to use the Platform; (b) unauthorized access to or alteration of your information; (c) conduct or content of third parties (including other users); (d) any user interaction, transaction, or dispute; or (e) any matter relating to personal information or listings, whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Platform or this Privacy Policy shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid us specifically for the Platform in the twelve (12) months before the claim (if any such fees exist) or (ii) a nominal amount where no fees were paid. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent still permitted.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated this Policy, our Terms & Conditions, applicable law, or if continued access could harm users, the Platform, or third parties. Upon termination, we may delete or retain information as described in our technical practices and legal obligations. Provisions of this Policy that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers and limitations) shall survive termination.
We may share information in the following circumstances:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties as a standalone product.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk and that we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using strong passwords and safeguarding your devices.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to or port data. To exercise rights or ask privacy questions, contact us through the in-app Contact Us feature (when signed in) or the contact channel we publish in the app or app store listing. We may need to verify your request. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the app or other reasonable means where required. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
Important: This document is intended to describe privacy practices for the KYC App (Know Your City). It does not override stronger disclaimers or liability limitations in our Terms & Conditions.
